So I didn’t get to post something everyday like I had hoped. But I haven’t forgotten how thankful we really should be for the blessings God has given us both in the good and bad. I think my family, esp myself, has learned that we won’t ever run out of things to be thankful for and that God really is good, all the time.

This special celebration has been a bittersweet one for my family, but God has been so good and faithful to us. Nine years ago I would have never pictured this new chapter in my family’s life. Actually, it’s not just another chapter in our life, it’s a whole new book! I am so grateful for new beginnings and looking forward to new chapters. =)

Till next year’s Thanksgiving list, I hope we don’t ever get too busy to be “thankful”.

Ok so I haven’t posted our daily thanksgiving but trust me I haven’t forgotten. This past week has been so full and so busy with preparation for our Family Thanksgiving Celebration! I can’t wait to post pictures but for now, a handful of the cutest photos will have to do.

I’m thankful we found Ethan’s soccer uniform and gear for one last game. We almost had to buy new gear for the last game of the season because somehow his bag made it to the bottom of my closet…don’t ask =)

I’m thankful for finding what I needed to find in the small window of time I had!

Toots – “I’m thankful for my home.”

Ethan – “I’m thankful for my hands so I can touch things.”

Lizzie – “I’m thankful for Ms. Heather [her physical therapist] because we do fun stuff outside.”

Enzo – “I’m thankful for Mrs. F [my Rooftop character] because she’s nice and pretty.”

me – “I’m thankful for the quiet moments in my day.”

Toots – “I’m thankful for you (Joyce).”

Joyce – “I’m thankful for finally finding a dress that I needed sooner rather than later because I hate shopping and I don’t like going to the mall.”

Toots – “I’m thankful for my job and it’s security. God is really blessing the company.”

Joyce – “I’m thankful for Toots’ c-pap machine. Because without it, I am not a happy camper!”

Toots – “If I say I’m thankful for the weekend, is that considered two things I’m thankful for?” <===== WHAT??? haha LOL!

Ethan – “I’m thankful for school even though I HATE it. Because without it I would be dumb.”

Me – “I’m thankful for details. Even though it may drive me nuts that I’m a perfectionist, I thrive on details (and lists) and that’s very useful when under pressure and on a time crunch.”

Toots – “I’m thankful for patience.” <=== I have a feeling he’s getting lots of opportunities to practice today…

Ethan – “I’m thankful for food.”

Lizzie – “I’m thankful for Lindsey and Earl because they are my friends.”

Enzo – “I’m actually thankful for playing outside.”

Me – “I’m thankful for hand sanitizer because germs gross me out.” (And no, hand sanitizer is NOT a substitute for hand washing)

Toots – “Thank You for the talent.”

Me – “I’m thankful for the moments God put me in when He shows himself to me even if the last thing I think to do at the time is look to Him.”
