Thank-full Day 18

I’m thankful for a late movie night out with friends (and maybe a family member, who may or may not want to be exposed hahaha). I’ve always made it a point to avoid the opening nights of all movies, opening week really. Somehow I was suckered into going and we had a BLAST! The line outside was crazy but because we were lost and had no clue what to do, we walked in to pick up our tickets and they told us to go straight into the theatre. Chatting and giggling with friends in the theatre for a couple of hours before showtime was a much needed break!

Guess who? ;)

ps. yeah so I’ll admit it…Breaking Dawn was AWESOME! I was a little disappointed they cut it short….ugh now I need to read the book because I’m not sure I want to wait till Part 2 comes out.

Plank!

This is what we’ve been up to this summer…ok so not really but I can officially say I’ve taken planking pictures in Tennessee and at MOSH hehehe. Although planking and Tennessee in the same sentence just sounds a wee bit more adventurous don’t you know think? Even Enzo hopped on the bandwagon, he was having blast considering he was freaking about following rules and not being on stuff your body doesn’t typically belong on =)

This has to be my favorite plank thus far! i love these 2 ladies…

Oli’s Birthday

Oh how sweet it is to be 2 again! Even sweeter when your momma throws you a Candy Buffett Party courtesy of Oli’s Pop Shop!

Oh twin seester dearest, you and your creative craftiness did awesome! Oli’s party was so much fun. I haven’t had that much sugar in a long time…the Ormeo kids definitely have never had that much sugar ever!

We were going to try to make chocolate covered donut holes made to look like lollipops, but neither of us had the melting chocolate so we stuck them on a stick anyway!

Your candy decoration were the cutest…yes, even the shriveled one – it actually made it cuter! (Hey we get at least 1 in every bag of candy right??)

** The reject candy is the shriveled balloon on the left, but it was still cute!

I had so much fun making this bunting! Actually, my OCD was in overdrive because of lines and spacing and letters, etc…but I got over it! I’m so glad it matches his bedroom too!

Hope you had a fun birthday Oli!

Invited Party Crasher

To my Twin Seester from another set of parentals:

Thanks for your “invited party crashing” last Saturday (oooh and Friday night too!). It was so great to finally see you again! We need to do more crashing and hanging out again. Besides, we need a reason to melt plastic brownie lids in your oven right? ;)

See you soon and love you lots!
Your Twin Seester

PS. I just have to say, you do have one of the cutest chic-magnets in the galaxy! And I didn’t even ask if Olie was a girl =D

Barley Soup

We ate dinner at one of our really good friends house tonight and she made Barley Soup…yes sounds scary!  I’m definitely not as adventurous when it comes to food like Toots is, but the soup was YUM!!!

Sherri had tons of stuff (mainly veggies) in it, and it was sooooo filling! I’ll have to get the recipe from her..but then again last time we got a recipe from her hubby Ricky, I screwed it up.

He makes probably the best chilli I’ve ever tasted! So I thought it looked easy enough, so we got the recipe from him and needless to say, next time I wanna eat chilli, I’ll invite myself over to their house for dinner!
