Weekend with Cousins

She is so adorable! I am lovin’ her at this age because you can talk her into doing funny and crazy stuff for the camera. Well after she says “No no no!” several times first. Oh and the silliness in the pix??? That’s compliments of Mama Susan. ;)


This is his Transformer pose. He never wants to pose for me! (He will smile politely but nothing beyond that) So I was just happy he asked for his pix to be taken.

Meet Spiderman. Before I left, he told me not to tell anyone who he is because he doesn’t want people to find out he’s Spiderman. LOL!

Oh sweet Gracie, seems like it was just yesterday that you ‘graced’ us with your presence. You were my first guinea pig when Uncle Toots got me a camera! Look at you now, I think we’ve both grown some huh? Maybe by the time you get married, I’ll learn to listen to Uncle Toots so I can learn how to take beautiful pictures like him ;) Happy Birthday Baby Gracie!

T-Ball fun starts!

Enzo is so excited that he gets to play t-ball again this season! Not sure if it’s the play he’s excited for or his social hour with the cousins ;)

Lizzie is so nervous about being able to play. This is her first year we’ve been cleared to play sports. In the past, her trach was always an issue with any contact games. But since she got her new tube put in, we don’t have to worry about her trach being knocked out. Look at her confused face..”What do I do with this?…You want me to do what??”

Look at that focus on Enzo’s face! Now if I can just get him to hyper-focus like that on other things ;) Lizzie is just a nut and she runs like a girl! ;)

Good Friday 2010

T’was a good day indeed! First of all because of what Christ did on the cross for us. But second because we had a great family time on a beautiful spring day! The sun and cool breeze was perfect. Marineland and a little stroll around St. Augustine was so relaxing and fun esp since we got to hangout with family. We even got in a little praise and worship out at St. Augustine. A local church out there had a mini-service/concert out on the greens near the Fort.


Marineland wasn’t too bad…definitely tiny. But the weather was just too nice to not enjoy it. I think they only had 3-4 dolphins out there (at least out where we can see them).

St. Augustine was such a nice stroll. It’s so great that our kids are all old enough to do spontaneous trips like this. It’s such a plus too that everyone is old enough to not need ‘stuff’ and that everyone does their own walking without having to be chased! woohoo!

Christmas Eve 2009

Christmas Eve this year was the same family celebration but different (in a good way). Different for a number of reasons but still a great time with family. We really enjoyed our time with family this year (we do every year but even more so this year). This feels like the most relaxed Christmas we’ve ever celebrated! I’m a little bummed that we didn’t take very many pictures (I’m sure this contributed to the relaxing part)

Creme brulee was excellent! (It was my favorite yummy for the evening)


Present time! – the kids’ favorite part of the whole evening.

But most importantly – THANK YOU Jesus for coming as a baby. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Thank you Lord for breathing life into our family again.
