Lately I’ve read a few blogs that have taken on a Thanksgiving Challenge to post one thing they are thankful for each day. So that got me thinking about emphasizing thankfulness to the kids, soooo we have decided to jump on the Thanksgiving bandwagon! For the month of November, everyday we’ll post something we are thankful for. Ethan is worried he might run out of things to be thanksful for, but I told him I’m sure God won’t allow that

Since it’s already the 6th of November, we decided to start off with 6 things we are thankful for (random order)!

Toots – “the wife, the kids, job, church, daily provisions, daily protection”

Ethan – “my iPod, computer, family, God, house, and my own room”

Lizzie – “I’m thankful for Mommy, Daddy, Kuya, Enzo, myself and Papa.”

Enzo – “I’m thankful for soccer, my cars, Mommy in this house, the house, the computer that Mommy, Daddy, and Kuya has, and Ate’s room and toys.”

Me - I’m thankful for:

1. My patient husband (because he definitely needs LOTS of it to live with me)
2. My 3 kids that Drs. once told me I would most likely not have (God blessed us with 3 and even showed off His sense of humor while at it!)
3. Late date/movie nights with the hubby
4. Family time with my entire family (this is the most we’ve seen each other in 9 years)
5. Sunday Family Lunch, not just for the good food, but for the time with family and crazy kids running around
6. Nurses that take care of our Lizzie and make #3 possible.

I’m actually looking forward to hearing what my kids are thankful for and to show them that we’ll never run out of things to praise God for.
